Never run when you can walk. Never walk when you can stand. Never stand when you can sit. Never sit when you can lay down. Never lay down when you can sleep.

Never run when you can walk.
Never walk when you can stand.
Never stand when you can sit.
Never sit when you can lay down.
Never lay down when you can sleep.

In fact the origins of this quote comes from Winston Churchill as he was trying to explain his success by applying Economy of Effort. The original quote goes: "Economy of effort. Never stand up when you can sit down, and never sit down when you can lie down.". The rest was added in later by the public.
